To provide our service, we collect the bare minimum amount of data required:

  • Account Information: When you log in via Google OAuth, we collect your email address to create your account and notify you when audits complete.
  • Audit Data: We temporarily store the URLs you submit, the scraped HTML/text from those URLs, and the resulting AI analysis to display in your dashboard.
  • Usage Data: We use standard local storage (cookies) to keep you logged in and save your UI theme preferences.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly to operate the BotSignal.Dev service:

  • To fetch, scrape, and analyze the websites you submit.
  • To generate PDF reports and dashboard analytics.
  • To process payments and manage your scan credits.
  • To send transactional emails (e.g., "Your scan is ready" or failed scan refunds).

3. Third-Party Services & LLMs

Because our core product relies on AI, the public text of the websites you scan is transmitted to third-party Large Language Model providers (like OpenAI and Anthropic) for analysis.

  • Data Processing: We transmit only the necessary scraped website text required to generate your audit. How this data is subsequently handled, stored, or processed is governed by the respective Privacy Policies and API Terms of Service of those third-party providers.
  • Payments: All financial transactions are handled securely by a third party provider. We never see or store your credit card information.

4. Data Deletion

You own your audit history. You can permanently delete any past scan from your dashboard at any time. If you wish to completely delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at support@BotSignal.Dev.
