By accessing or using BotSignal.Dev, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our service.

1. The Service

BotSignal.Dev provides automated website auditing, scraping, and AI-readiness scoring. By submitting a URL, you instruct our servers to fetch publicly available data from that URL and process it through artificial intelligence models.

2. User Responsibilities

You agree to use our service responsibly. You may not:

  • Use our service to launch Denial of Service (DoS) attacks or aggressively spam target servers.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass, or hack our scoring algorithms, APIs, or credit systems.
  • Submit URLs containing illegal, highly sensitive, or explicitly harmful material.

3. Credits, Payments, and Refunds

BotSignal.Dev operates on a pay-before-use credit system.

  • Usage: One (1) successfully initiated URL scan consumes one (1) credit.
  • Automated Refunds: If our servers fail to complete an audit due to a timeout, a Web Application Firewall (WAF) block on the target site, or an internal error, the consumed credit will be automatically refunded to your balance.
  • No Refunds for Completed Scans: Because server compute and AI processing costs are incurred immediately, we cannot offer refunds for successfully completed scans, regardless of the resulting score.

4. Limitation of Liability

BotSignal.Dev is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that our AI readiness scores will directly result in higher search engine rankings or inclusion in LLM-generated answers.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BotSignal.Dev and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits, lost data, or SEO penalties) arising from your use of the service or reliance on our reports.

5. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms (or any other policy) at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
